I have not updated in a very long time, so let me tell just a little bit about what has been going on.  Things in NWA are going great,  I love the church that I am working at, and our youth group is growing.  Our church is building a new building, and we should be in next August.

In the month of September I was ordained.  That was a very exciting experience, and was another mile stone in my life in the ministry.  As you can see from the beautiful blonde in my profile picture I have a new love interest. She is absolutely amazazing and I am very excited about her moving to NWA.  if you want any more information than that you will need to give me a call.

I have really been missing my OBU friends.  The other day I pulled out some old pictures and began to think about all of our great times.  It seems so hard to think that we can never return to the times when we would all hang out.   I am very happy with the life I have now, and the people in it, but I do also miss those great friends from the past.  So to all those great friends whenever you go to |Sonic, OKC rocks, Kaleidoscope (well...some other form), or just hanging out drinking coffee remember those great times we shared.

Today I went to the doctor because I hurt my back earlier in the week... while there I found out that I have a rib that is "out," and also that I have some torn muscles...this however was not the worst part of the day...that came durring my time before going back to the doctor to get my results.   I decided to go to Sonic for a thristy thursday before going back to the doctor.  This would be my first endevor back into the thirsty thursday world since graduation...but I figured it was about time to take this important step.  I was shocked and downright upset when I got there and they had never heard of thristy thursdays.  The damage done to my back will heal in time...but I fear that the damage done to my heart by this thirsty thursday travesty will never fully heal.  So to all of you out there who live by a Sonic who has thirsty thursdays do not take them for granted for there are those of us who are forced by our geographical location to now go without this wonderful tradition.

I came to the realization yesterday that I spent four years in college getting my family psychology degree so that I could sneak around my office with an air-soft gun shooting my co-workers while at the same time attempting to not get shot myself....

"Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one."

  Albert Einstein

Yesterday at a stop light I saw "Gold daytonas on a cherry 64" (no seriously I did, well at least it was gold rims on a mid 60's impala) I instantaniously became extatic.  It reminded me of Kaleidoscope and in an instant I was flooded with memories.  I then sat back back, took in a deep breath, and then when the light turned green continued on in my present journey focused on the task at hand, but with the wonderful memories of the past accompanying me for the ride.

Both camps are over...but not without their problems.  Lets start with the highschool camp in Keystone Colorodo.  I ended up in the ER twice durring this trip.  The first time because I had pink eye and strep, the second time because I was alergicic to the first pink eye medicine they gave me causing my vision to go out, and my eyes to swell.   In the words of those around me I looked like a "three day drunk."  However camp still was good from the standpoint of having over 30 salvations.

Middle school camp...well...middle schooler's are very...um...active.  This group definitely keeps me on my toes, but I love 'em.  At this camp we had 9 salvations.  Overall I am satisfied with how things went.  Since camp I have done nothing but golf, water ski, and sleep.  I am currently however working on stuff for tomorrow.  I must admit I really do love my job.

Lastly, I have a new cell phone number.  For those of you who do not yet have it call my old cell (which will be in service for a little while longer) and I will then give you my new number.
